PIQE: Over 40 Vandalia Parents Graduate!

The Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) hosted their K-12 Parent Engagement in Education Program at Vandalia. The nine week program took place on Wednesday nights and focused on a variety of subjects such as creating a home learning environment, navigating the school system, and encouraging high school and college graduation. Reach for the Stars Read-a-Thon is a Success!

Thank you to all the families that participated in Vandalia's first Reach for the Stars Read-a-Thon in April. Our school collected $1,055 in pledges to support our students' reading goal! Usborne Books has matched 50% of our pledges and we have ordered $1,582 in new books for our school!
